There are groups of "beginning teachers" in every school in our county. They meet every month and are always looking for a little "perk". That perk can be refreshments for the meeting and a 10 min presentation on who you are and what you offer. Teachers are thrilled to hear from mortgage folks, insurance owners, local restaurants and love meeting you. It matters. There could be 30 people who quickly become new customers!
Such an easy way to increase exposure and get to know prospective clients!

It seems clear that getting "extra kudos" for a first year teacher is a pretty big deal. I remember my son explaining his experience and how much the little things mattered. Big Corporations seem to have "perks" that don't always show up for a new teacher. We ask that you send written support and remember them on holidays and their birthday with a card. Maybe once in awhile send them a surprise gift card or breakfast on a special day. A great way to support quietly and know that you are making someone's day.
Simply because we know that giving is a way to find purpose. You do it for the teacher, but it is also 4U. Everyone wins.
